New Age to Faith As I Embraced Jesus in My Business

Hi, I'm Kayla. My journey in the online world began as a Virtual Assistant (VA), then evolved into an Online Business Manager (OBM) helping 6-7 figure women in the online business world. It was during this time, working with one coach in particular, that I first encountered a practice that would change my path: a reading of my "Akashic Records." This opened my eyes to various practices promising success and fulfillment.

In my search for purpose, I ventured into using crystals, engaging in Reiki, and even exploring Tarot Cards. I sought to understand my purpose, to find alignment that promised success. I found myself speaking to spirit guides, becoming certified in Reiki, and walking what is known as "The High Priestess Path”. But the more I chased external validations, the more I realized I needed to look within.

My exploration led me to work with "goddess" deities and to witness unexplainable phenomena. I even experienced objects moving, supposedly by "my own power." My journey into ritual baths soon morphed into ritual manifestations and witchcraft, all in the pursuit of purpose and success.

The Turning Point

However, these practices began to take a toll. They opened doors to darkness and even encounters with demonic forces. I was led down a path of "dark feminine" energy, which culminated in a real-life encounter with a demonic goddess. My marriage began to crumble, and my business didn't yield the success I'd been promised.

It was at this low point that I felt a pull to return to something I hadn't done in years: fasting and praying. This led me to reopen an old Bible. As I committed to this spiritual practice, Jesus began to draw me back, and God sent Christians into my life. Even my husband, who had fallen into drug addiction and destructive behaviors during our separation, was invited to play music at a church. We both found ourselves being pulled back to faith.

One day, I begged God to show me the way and truth, his truth. As I opened my Bible, the Holy Spirit overwhelmed me. In that instant, my desire for all New Age practices vanished. From that moment, God took hold of my heart and began a work of deliverance in me. I turned away from New Age practices, replacing them with time spent with God. My husband also began to move away from his life of sin, and slowly, our lives started to mend with God's love and grace.

Transitioning to Faith-Based Business Practices

I now denounce any New Age practice and solely use my gifts for God. I no longer channel; instead, I listen only to God's whispers. The Bible verse Jeremiah 33:3, which I've known for years that was spoken over me at my first women's retreat, now holds a deep understanding for me.

The Bible verse Jeremiah 33:3 reads: "Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known." This verse is often cited for its promise of God's readiness to reveal deep wisdom and guidance to those who seek Him faithfully in prayer.

I've transformed my business by combining my skills as a former corporate office manager, VA, and OBM with my faith in Jesus. My business is now centered on my values as a woman, mom, wife and business owner pursuing God's heart. I use the wisdom and discernment of the Holy Spirit to build a business where success is defined on God's terms, bringing me true fulfillment.

Integrating Jesus into Your Business Values and Vision

My daily reading of the Bible inspires and shapes both my business and personal life. Jesus has transformed my business relationships, empowering me to guide other women towards true fulfillment through faith. I help them build profitable and purposeful businesses centered in God. My mission is to uplift and inspire women worldwide to find real fulfillment, define success on God's terms, and build business models that reflect their faith-filled inspirations while supporting their God-given lives.

Challenges and Triumphs

There were moments of doubt and challenge. I questioned if God was really who the Bible says He is, if He was truly against these New Age practices. I struggled with convincing myself that these tools were okay if I used them to speak to God. But in my doubts, I left my soul open to destruction.

Now, having given my life back to God, He is restoring everything. My business is experiencing real success through my faith in Jesus, and I am living happily in my purpose. My work brings me joy when aligned with God's word. I no longer chase worldly success but the true fulfillment that God provides.

My Advice To You

If you are uncertain and seeking alignment with God, just ask Him. He will always guide us to truth and love.  Remember, your business is an extension of who you are; fill it with practices that honor your walk with God, uplifting every part of your being.

Jesus has restored my purpose, is still working on my marriage, my entire life. I am now happy and fulfilled in all that I do, and the peace in my life is undeniable. My business has become everything I ever wanted and more.
