Leaving New Age Behind & How Jesus Became the Heart of My Business

Hey there, I’m Kayla. My online path started as a Virtual Assistant, then grew into being an Online Business Manager for some powerhouse women making big moves. I was deep in it, wanting more purpose and alignment, and found myself drawn into practices promising “success.” I got into crystals, Reiki, Tarot cards, and even “goddess” worship. These things felt powerful, until they didn’t. I chased these external answers, but what I truly needed was within.

I was certified in Reiki, calling myself a “High Priestess,” and doing ritual baths for “manifestation.” Yeah, you could say I was on a path, but not the one I was meant to be on. Things got dark fast, my marriage hit the rocks, my business stalled, and all these promises of “alignment” led me nowhere. But then, something happened. I started praying and fasting again, reopening my Bible, and I felt a huge shift. Jesus pulled me back, and people who were on fire for God showed up in my life. My husband was invited to play music at a church, and we both felt that tug back to faith 

One night, feeling lost, I begged God to show me the way. The Holy Spirit met me there, and that’s when everything changed. I walked away from New Age practices and dove all-in with God. Deliverance came piece by piece, and my marriage slowly began to heal. I’m talking real change, guided by grace.

Shifting to a Faith-Filled Business

I’m not about New Age anything anymore. Now, I just listen to God. Jeremiah 33:3 speaks so clearly to me now: “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” This verse is woven into every part of my business.

Today, I combine the business management skills I built in the corporate world with my faith. Everything I do aligns with my values as a woman, wife, mom, and believer. I’m here to help other women create businesses that are profitable, purposeful, and centered on God’s direction, bringing a fulfillment you can’t find in anything else.

Why Jesus is at the Heart of My Business

Every day, God’s word shapes who I am and what I do in business. I’ve seen what God can do in my own life, and I want that for other women, too. Challenges and Restoration

I won’t lie, there were times I questioned if God was really against all the New Age practices I’d let in. I tried convincing myself that using these “tools” to connect with Him was okay. But when I doubted, I opened the door for things that nearly destroyed me. Now, having given my life back to Jesus, I’m watching Him restore everything.

These days, my business is finally growing in a way that feels aligned and peaceful. No more hustle for “worldly success”—just God-given purpose and fulfillment.

My Advice to You

If you’re feeling uncertain and seeking truth with God, just ask Him. He will always lead you into truth and love. Remember, your business is an extension of who you are, fill it with practices that honor your walk with God and lift up every part of who you’re becoming.

Jesus has restored my purpose, is still working on my marriage, and is moving in every part of my life. I’m finally happy and fulfilled in everything I do, and the peace I have now? It’s unshakable. My business has become everything I ever dreamed of and more.
