I had a dream I wasn’t planning to share. In fact, I hadn’t even written it down until now. Every time I went to share other dreams, something stopped me. Now I know why. It’s because I hadn’t had this one yet. And this one, this was the dream that changed everything.

It didn’t feel like a dream. It felt like a spiritual encounter.

I was in a room that felt like space. No walls, no ceiling. Just a floor, stretching endlessly. That’s when I saw her. I didn’t need anyone to tell me who she was, I just knew. She was an angel. And without hesitation, I cried out for help. Not because I knew what I needed, but because my soul recognized what she carried.

Suddenly, I was in another space. Three angels stood before me. She was the third.

The first one told me to pick up a shield. It was lying on the floor. He said the light of God was within him, and if I looked at him without protection, I wouldn’t survive it. He said his name was Zeus. I hesitated. I didn’t want to pick it up right away. But something in me knew this wasn’t a test of obedience, it was an invitation to prepare for what I was about to encounter.

The second angel was silent.

The third angel the woman I first saw, said her name was Gabrielle. And I believed her. No proof needed. My spirit recognized her just like it did the first time.

As I stood there, waves of light started pouring over my body. Not just in the dream, but in real life. I could see them through my closed eyelids. I couldn’t open my eyes, but I was awake, and light was washing over me in pulses.

When I woke up, I knew God had spoken. And I knew it wasn’t just for me.

This dream showed me that the weight of His presence is not something to take lightly. That spiritual warfare is real. That divine protection is already covering us. That we don’t need to strive for it, prove ourselves worthy of it, or wait until we feel ready. We simply have to pick up our shield and stand in what God has already placed inside us.

The first angel reminded me of Ephesians 6:16: “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”

My hesitation mirrored our human tendency to delay obedience because we want clarity first. But this dream was a revelation: the shield wasn’t just for protection. It was preparation.

Gabrielle’s presence reminded me that God always sends help. And the light flowing over me? It felt like purification. Healing. Equipping.

It’s taken me time to understand this dream. And I’m still piecing it together. But what I know is this:

This was a divine call to walk in a deeper level of spiritual authority. A reminder that God is near. That He is still speaking. Still moving. Still raising up women who will carry His presence into their business, their leadership, their purpose.

This dream wasn’t just for me. It was for the one who needs to remember that God still walks with us.

You don’t need to wait to be chosen. You don’t need to earn the blessing. You don’t need to prove your value.

He’s already covering you. Already preparing you. Already positioning you to hold what He’s about to pour out.

So if you’re in a season that feels uncertain, know this... You’re not being overlooked. You’re being positioned.
